I just got back home after a rather fun filled day :) Zohan was hilariously funny! Though it contained a lot of horny sex stuff but this was the first time i had such a great laugh after a long time. Not to mention SOMEONE spilt popcorn all over the floor until my converse shoe's sole was full of it. It's okay I don't blame you :D
I got a selection headache now..my SMU application was sent in with the appeal cases cause apparently they accidentally forgot to put mine with the first batch. Then on Thursday, the letter from SMU came which said I had been accepted into smu Business Management! I had already accepted NUS Biz Ad, and this caused me to have a great dilemma once again. Jeanette told me just now that out of the 18000+ applicants who applied for SMU, only 1600 are accepted which prompted me to want to go SMU so much. Also as quoted from Cristiano Ronaldo, about his possible move to Real Madrid, he said "For me it is a great opportunity and, as Scolari says, that train passes by only once and we have to take advantage of it. That is why he took advantage of his change. Other people have to take advantage of opportunities, too." Yeah the train passes by only once, if i reject smu they may never take me in again if i want to.
But after careful thought, and reading a particular forum in hardwarezone, I realized the only difference between the 2 universities' biz courses is the culture. I guess I would be better off in NUS after all, I guess I would suit more to the vibrant and more active lifestyle in NUS. SMU got this freaky seminar style where people shout across the room and shoot each other with disagreements. I think I would do without that, thank you. I had enough of those "wayang" fuckers in the army always shouting something for the sake of it, just to show that they've got great leadership or capabilities or shit like that. My mum wants me to go SMU, partly cause its nearer, but fuck it. End of the day its my choice and distance travelling should never be a factor in these issues. I think i would drag and keep pondering my 2 choices till Monday which is the deadline..such a tough decision to make.
Waiting for Euro 2008, tonight's knockout match is Netherlands (Oranje) vs Russia, and it's starting soon! Since my fav team Portugal has been knocked out, I would support Oranje NOT because they're the strongest, but because they're the highest scoring team in the competition and they play entertaining attacking football, not like some certain countries.
